Sam brings more than 27 years of experience helping high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners manage the financial decisions that accompany significant wealth.
His work spans investment management, comprehensive wealth planning and the day-to-day financial affairs of families whose needs extend beyond a traditional portfolio.
As a Founding Partner and Private Wealth Advisor at Truing Capital Advisors, Sam works with clients to develop strategies that reflect their priorities today and the legacy they want to create. Sam brings a specialized perspective to business owners preparing for a transition, connecting decisions about their companies with their broader personal and family financial plans.
Before founding Truing Capital Advisors, Sam served as a wealth advisor and senior portfolio manager at UBS. Earlier, he was a Senior Wealth Advisor with Nevada State Investment Services, a division of Nevada State Bank, after serving as a partner in an independent wealth management firm that was acquired by the bank. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
A former UNLV football player, Sam remains involved with his alma mater through the UNLV Football Foundation and volunteers in the Las Vegas community. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, and their three children.
